PLOT SUMMARY: The series chronicles the lives of two waitresses in their mid-twenties: Max Black (Kat Dennings), the child of a poor working-class mother and an unknown father, and Caroline Channing (Beth Behrs), who was born rich but is now disgraced and penniless because her father, Martin Channing, got caught operating a Bernard Madoff-esque Ponzi scheme. The two work together at a Brooklyn diner, soon becoming roommates and friends while building toward their dream of one day opening a cupcake shop. Among those working with them at the restaurant are their boss, Han Lee (Matthew Moy); Oleg (Jonathan Kite), an upbeat but perverted Ukrainian cook; and Earl (Garrett Morris), a 75-year-old cashier. Also featured starting late in the first season is their neighbor and part-time boss Sophie (Jennifer Coolidge), a Polish immigrant who runs the house-cleaning company Sophie's Choice.

During most of the first season Max is also a part-time nanny for the twin babies of Peach Landis (Brooke Lyons). At the end of each episode a tally shows how much they have made toward their goal of $250,000. Early in the second season, Sophie lends the girls $20,000, which is enough for them to start their business. However, the business fails, and in the 18th episode they are forced to give up the lease of their cupcake shop with just enough money to pay off Sophie's loan, resetting the end of episode tally to $1.

     PLOT SUMMARY: Rebecca Pearson once had a difficult pregnancy with triplets. The resulting births occurred on the same day as her husband Jack Pearson's thirty-sixth birthday. The lives of Rebecca, Jack and their three offspring - Kevin, Kate and Randall - are presented at different points in time. PLOT SUMMARY: Brains and Brawn. An autistic boy is seen as weird and is bullied throughout his childhood, even his mother leaves him because she cannot deal with the stress of raising a special-needs child. So, he grows up with his brother and his dad who is in the military and refuses to give up on him. He trains him in combat and gets him to square off with his bullies. His training leaves him no room for mistakes and made him  even more queer than usual. With his love for numbers, he grows into a brilliant accountant and with his training in combat, a bad ass accountant working as a freelance accountant for some of the world's most dangerous criminal organisations and is paid in weird ways. With the treasury department's crime enforcement on his trail, he takes on a legitimate client: a state-of-the-art robotics company where an accounting clerk has discovered a discrepancy involving millions of dollars. Hes in love with the CPA of the firm but shows it in really awkward ways. He appoints himself her personal guard and protector and as Christian uncooks the books and gets closer to the truth, the body count starts to rise.

I would have loved to see the human side to Affleck in this movie but he seemed just too damaged. It was not a perfect movie, but the flaws were forgivable. At least the guy had a reason to be in a desolate location where he was trained by Asian Ninja men.
Ben Affleck was great; he was awkward and believable in his expressions and conversation. While the ending was visible a mile away, it didn't detract from enjoyment of the film.
There were definite superhero elements in the movie but I didn't really see the movie as a superhero movie.

PLOT SUMMARY:
The wild West is back. A Bounty hunter, a gambler, an outlaw, a sharpshooter, an assassin, a warrior and a tracker.  What could they all possibly have in common? They love to blow stuff up. From getting paid to take care of bad guys, they decide to stick around to fight for a village and rescue a damsel in distress. No better army has ever been.

The residents of a small town are being oppressed by a man, Bartholomew Bogue to sell him their land for a paltry price. He burns down their church and kills any man who opposes him. The widow who's wife he kills  heads off to find help and while at a town, she sees a man take out some men all by himself. She then approaches him and asks for his help. The man, Sam Chisolm is not interested till he is told about Bogue. He recruits a man whom he saw handle himself quite well. The man, Faraday says yes and they recruit some other men of skill and they total seven. They go to the town to take care of Bogue's men. They prepare the villagers in lieu of Bogue's return. As expected, Bogue comes back with an army but who can stand the magnificence of the seven???

The movie is a remake of a remake of the original movie. (Lol). First made in 1956 by Akira Kurosawa and named "The seven samurai" The second was in 1960 by John Sturges and named "The magnificent seven" Now, it's 2016 and we have another remake by Antoine Fuqua. I hope nobody gets this same idea 30 years from now. The third time is the charm, they say.

PLOT SUMMARY: It's a gathering of world leaders in London for the burial of the deceased British Prime minister and they all enter "one chance" Terrorism takes over. London security agency is infiltrated by terrorists led by Amir Barkawi,  the master mind behind several   terrorist attacks all over the world and the event ends even before it begins. Luckily for the American President, he has his best guy on the secret service detail, Mike Banning, who is also a good friend and whose wife is due to give birth in a few weeks.
When things go south, leaders of Canada, Germany, Japan, France and Italy were eliminated and there are also hundreds of civilian casualties and several of London's landmarks are damaged. Banning is able to get the president to safety but they are being tracked by the terrorist and Banning realises that running is not an option. He stands his ground and risks his life to save the president. Things lead to things, the president gets captured, but Banning freezes hell over to get the president back.

Wow!!! So very real. The action, the guns and ammunition, the fear and emotions on their faces. You know how in some nolly wood movies, when shots are fired at a car, the holes the bullets make are not proportional to the size of the bullet, well, I will just say that such is not the case for this movie. The action with a hint of humor. Infact, go and watch it by yourself abeg. I cannot fit shout.

PLOT SUMMARY: US Airways pilots Captain Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger and First Officer Jeffrey Skiles board US Airways Flight 1549 from LaGuardia Airport to Charlotte Douglas International Airport. Barely three minutes into the flight, at an approximate altitude of 2,800 feet (approx. 850 m), the Airbus A320 strikes a flock of Canada geese, disabling both engines. Without engine power or airports within a safe distance, Teterboro Airport being the closest, Sully decides to ditch the aircraft on the Hudson River. Sully manages to land the aircraft in the Hudson without any casualties. The press and public immediately hail him as a hero, but the incident leaves him with PTSD, repeatedly envisioning the plane crashing into a building.

Afterwards, Sully learns that preliminary data reports from ACARS suggest that the left engine was still running at idle. Theoretically, this would have left him with enough power to return to LaGuardia or land at Teterboro. Furthermore, the board of inquiry claims that several confidential computerized flight simulations created from all available data conclude that the plane could have been landed safely at either airport even with both engines disabled. Sully, however, maintains that he lost both engines, which left him without sufficient time, speed, or altitude to safely land at any airport.

Sully realizes that the NTSB is angling to have the accident deemed pilot error, which would effectively end his career. In a bid to save his reputation, he arranges to have the simulator pilots available for live demonstrations at the public hearing on the accident. When both simulations land at the airport successfully, Sully counters that the simulations were unrealistic because the pilots immediately knew what actions to take, thus eliminating the human factor and not accounting for the amount of time that pilots would have needed in reality to assess their situation and attempt unsuccessfully to restart failed engines, as was the case with Sully and Skiles. When pressed, the board admits that the simulator pilots were allowed multiple practice sessions prior to the successful simulations shown at the hearing.

Conceding Sully's point, the board orders a rerun of the simulations with a 35-second pause after the bird strikes before any emergency diversions are attempted. When revised accordingly, the LaGuardia simulation ends with the flight plowing through the lead-in lights short of the runway, and the Teterboro simulation with the flight crashing into a building short of the airport.

After a short break, the board reveals that the left engine has been recovered from the Hudson River, showing indisputable signs that it was completely destroyed by the bird strikes. In light of these findings, the board officially finds that the loss of US Airways Flight 1549 was unavoidable, and that Sullenberger acted correctly in executing the only viable option available to him as the pilot in command to save the lives of all aboard. When asked if he would have done anything differently, First Officer Skiles replies: "I would have done it in July."

The end credits feature a reunion montage of the real passengers and crew of Flight 1549 at the Carolinas Aviation Museum, where the accident aircraft is on display.
