PLOT SUMMARY: Made of Honor revolves around Tom and Hannah, who have been platonic friends for 10 years. He's a serial dater, while she wants marriage but hasn't found Mr. Right. Just as Tom is starting to think that he is relationship material after all, Hannah gets engaged. When she asks Tom to be her "maid" of honor, he reluctantly agrees just so he can attempt to stop the wedding and woo her.

That's the problem with some people. The cannot recognise love if it were a 7 feet giant and staring them in the face. A guy sleeps around with so many girls. He even has rules like "I can't see the same girl 2 nights in a roll" what an ass!!!!. I bet some guys are like that in real life. Shame! Shame!! Shame!!!( my honest opinion. If you don't like it, start your own blog.) So, he friend-zones his best friend who happens to be a girl and also happens to be drooling over him. Not until he has to spend 6 weeks(just 6 weeks) without her that he realises how much he really loves her. Who even knew guys could friend- zone ladies. I thought it was a girl thing. We all know what they say about not cherishing what you have until you lose it or are about to. Anyways, he decides to come clean with himself and tell the girl how he truly feels but it is too late cos she comes back with a tall, rich, handsome Scottish Duke (quite the competition) hehehehehehhe, talking about marriage and how she wants him to be her maid of honor (ouch!!!) That burns.
Wait oo. If I may ask. As far as P.D.A(Public Display of Affection) goes, how proper is it to do all those sometimes(rarely) cute and sometimes(mostly) disgusting acts of kissing and touching in front of someone.(friend, foe or public)???? I can't stand it. Anyone does it in front of me, especially when I'm single, I'm soooooooo complaining.
As I was gisting. He agrees to be the maid of honor so that he could do what all the best maids of honor have done throughout the decade " steal the bride" 😉 Will he succeed or just make a fool of himself?
I learnt a few Scottish history from the movie. There used to be this game played before every wedding to determine if the groom deserved the bride. If he didn't win, he didn't get the bride. Isn't that something? I also learnt that Scottish bridal showers used to involve the bride selling her kisses for change. Do not sign me up for that.
Some people might consider it a chic flick but I do not. Really interesting movie. we all know how Dempsey likes to play. Started well and ended well. Nice story line, good directing, beautiful cinematography. I know it's old but.... Must watch.
