In truth, I initially had a hard time picturing Damon Wayans as a cop cos to me, he will always be the funny guy from "My wife and kids" So, i resorted to folowing the series. Wayans is anything and everything in between. He takes the role and makes it his. He brings in that funny side of him and acted the hell out of the role. I dont imagine its easy for him though, managing to balance "funny" and "serious" both characters of which are required for the role.
His partner, Crawford is super good too. I wouldn't have paired him with Wayans though but his crazy side does appeal to his role in the movie. He manages to mix action with crazy + emotions. WHO DOES THAT!!!!
Lest i forget. My baby, Keesha Sharp features too and she brought it every which way.
From the much i have seen, i will rate the movie at a solid 7.
